Membership WHO? An individual must be a citizen of the United States of America and at least sixteen years old. A prospective member must be sponsored by an Emblem Club member and by a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America. WHAT? Members may serve on any committee and may be elected to office. Loyalty to the Emblem Club is expected and each member is expected to support Club projects. WHY? Pride in belonging. Its exciting, motivating and a commitment to the values of caring. It’s an opportunity to make a profound difference in your community.
Emblem Club Meetings Affiliated Emblem Club meetings are held once each month on the first Wednesday of the month. (Except for optional two month vacation annually). All business meetings must be opened and closed in form as prescribed by the Ritual and Supreme Emblem Club. Our regular meetings are held at the Sonora Elks Club at 100 Elks Drive in Sonora. The Emblem Clubs reciprocate by strict adherence to the privileges allowed, and rendering much material assistance to the said Lodge. Emblem Club Lunch Socials Lunch Socials are held once each month about the third Wednesday of the month at a local restaurant. (Except for the optional two month vacation annually). Each month it is at a different location chosen by the social committee of that month. This lunch serves as a little social get together and is a lot of fun. All members are welcome and encouraged to come.
